A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FLUID TRANSFER COMPANY'S SANITARY VALVES:

Our valves are precision made of Type 316 Stainless Steel and are designed for corrosion-resistant, high-sanitary conditions in the food, drug, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, beverage, and chemical industries. All valves are USDA-MID approved. All of our valves are manufactured with a #4 polished interior (3A standard). The ball is totally enclosed in seals of mica filled Teflon that have a maximum working temperature of 350F. These seals are resistant to wear and less subject to deformation under load. Our valves are now rated at a maximum working pressure of 450 PSIG and can be used for full vacuum applications. They're tested from a low pressure of 4 PSIG to a high of 450 PSIG. Our three way Divert Valves are rated to 300 PSIG.
Virgin Teflon or Mica-filled Teflon seals and full-flow ports eliminate product entrapment and product flow restrictions.
Valve exteriors may be obtained with either polished or unpolished surfaces depending on the customer's needs. The absence of protruding lugs and bolts presents a surface that does not trap dirt or product, and is very easy to keep highly sanitary.
Disassembly is extremely fast with no tools required. Face to face dimension is interchangeable with sanitary plug valves. Unlike plug valves, however, if a plug becomes damaged by scratching, dropping, or marring the surface in any way, then the valve leaks and a new plug is needed. With our valves, only a new set of seals would be needed to restore valve to original efficiency.
We offer rack and pinion, vane or electric actuators for both direct and remote mountings. We also offer solenoids, position switches and controllers for these Actuators for complete position control.
For manufacturers of processing equipment such as tanks, kettles, etc., we believe our Flush Bottom Ball Valves to be the finest, trouble-free, sanitary ball valves obtainable.
Our valves are currently being used for a wide variety of products. Some of which are: mustard, catsup, juices, soft drinks, flavors, oils, sauces, syrups, soup, alcohol beverages, bouillons, jams, jellies, milk and milk products, hot chocolate, lubricants, creams, various chemicals, and various cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulas.
