Fluid Transfer's Fractional Size In-Line, Fluid Flow Ball Valves are precision made of T-316 stainless steel. They are designed for corrosion-resistant, sanitary applications in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and beverage industries. The solid construction of Fluid-Flow Fractional Size Valves provides maximum reliability and failure-free performance under the most extreme conditions. Clean-up and maintenance costs are substantially reduced due to a unique, simple two-piece design that allows extremely fast break down... by hand... no tools required. Fluid Flow Fractional Size Ball Valves can also be used in C.I.P. systems.
Standard full Mica-filled Teflon seals provide the maximum reduction in product entrapment while full ports, also standard, eliminate product flow restrictions. A polished #4 ID/OD is standard while electropolish is offered as an option.
Fluid-Flow 1/2" and 3/4" sanitary ball valves are rated for a working pressure to 300 PSIG and maximum working temperature of 550F. Tri-Clamp* connectors and butt weld ends are standard while other connections are available upon request.
Double acting (air to air) and spring return pneumatic actuators can be coupled to the valves to provide a versatile automatic valve. A rack and pinion pneumatic actuator is standard. Other types of actuators can be supplied.
Three-Way Diverter Valves are also available in 1/2" and 3/4" sizes.
